Borrow. Build. Deploy.

Industrial equipment in Cameroon costs between 300,000 and 600,000 FCFA or more. That cost stops talented engineers from building anything real.

The Hardware Vault removes that barrier completely. Every active SkillForge member can borrow 500+ industrial components — Siemens PLCs, STM32 boards, sensor arrays, oscilloscopes — at zero cost, for the full length of their mission. No deposit. No rental fee. No equipment budget needed.

There is no other facility like this in Cameroon.

The Vault Checkout System

Getting technical experience in Cameroon shouldn't depend on your bank balance. Here is how our lending model works.

Digital Checkout Card

Once enrolled in a Mission Track, you receive a digital Checkout Card. This grants you the authority to withdraw hardware from any of our three hubs.

Hardware Mission Kits

Borrow specific kits tailored to your mission — from Embedded Control sets to Advanced AgriTech sensor arrays. Use them in our labs or at your deployment site.

Return & Re-Up

When your milestone is verified in the Index, return the hardware for the next innovator or upgrade your kit for a more advanced mission phase.

500+
Components You Can Touch

Physical access to real industrial hardware — not a simulation or a video lesson.

50+
Industrial PLCs

Including Siemens S7-1200 units — the same equipment used in factories across Cameroon and Central Africa.

Zero
FCFA to Borrow

Free for every active mission member. No deposit. No rental fee. Hardware access is included in your lab membership.

24/7
Lab Support

Mission mentors available throughout your checkout period.

Vault FAQs

Everything about borrowing, returning, and getting the most from the Hardware Vault.

Vault access is granted when you enrol in a SkillForge mission track. Once approved, you receive a digital Checkout Card that authorises you to borrow hardware from any of our three hubs — Yaoundé, Buea, or Douala — for the full duration of your mission.

No deposit. No rental fee. The Vault operates on a trust-based lending model — equipment is borrowed free of charge for your mission duration. Borrowing privileges are tied to your active mission status in the SkillForge Index.

The Vault holds 500+ components including: industrial microcontrollers (STM32, Raspberry Pi), Siemens S7-1200 PLCs, sensor networks (soil moisture arrays, thermocouples, ultrasonic rangers), actuators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and specialised kits for Embedded Systems, AgriTech, Med-Tech, and Electrical Engineering missions.

Yes — this is by design. You can take hardware to your deployment site, a client location, or a field trial as part of your mission. Extended loan periods for field deployments and Arena challenges are approved by your mentor. We built the Vault to power real-world projects, not just lab experiments.

Every Item Here Powers a Real Project.

Every item in this Vault is here for one reason: to power a real project that ends up in your SkillForge Index.
