Select Your Mission Track

We don't have courses. We have missions.

A mission is not a course. There are no exams, no attendance registers, and no end-of-course certificates.

Every mission ends with one thing: a verified project entry in your SkillForge Index — an online record of what you built, what hardware you used, and what outcome you produced. That record is what you show employers in Cameroon and beyond instead of a CV.

Hardware for every mission is available through the Vault at zero cost.

This is not a school. This is a professional incubation lab.

SkillForge tracks are industrial missions. You work on real products, borrow real hardware, and earn a verifiable SkillForge Index score — not a participation certificate. Employers can verify your competency through a signed digital link.

How the Work Gets Harder as You Grow

Projects are not random. They follow the same progression as a real engineering career: build alone first, then work in a team, then take on more complex independent work. The further you go, the harder the projects — and the more valuable your SkillForge Index becomes.

5
Solo Projects

Build individual technical capability, problem-solving discipline, and the habit of finishing what you start. You work alone — no excuses, no shortcuts.

2
Team Projects

Develop collaboration, code review skills, and the ability to work inside a real engineering process. Simulate the conditions of professional employment.

∞
Solo Again — Scaling Up

Return to solo work with projects that scale in complexity as your experience grows. As long as you remain a member, the work continues and your Index keeps building.

Curated Challenges

Projects designed by SkillForge to match real industrial problems. Same level of complexity as what OctalBrain handles for clients.

Live Pipeline Work

Real OctalBrain projects that members contribute to when their Index shows the required level. This is not a simulation. It is actual work going to a real client.

Paid Client Work

External clients pay for this output. Access is only for members whose Index confirms they are ready. This is employment inside the lab.

Every Track Includes Full Hardware Access

Don't worry about equipment costs. When you join a track, you get a checkout card for our Lending Library of industrial components. We provide the sensors, actuators, and controllers — you provide the innovation and the drive.

Stop Preparing. Start Building.

Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. No prior industrial experience required — only the drive to create, deploy, and prove your worth through real engineering work.

Track FAQs

Everything you need to know about mission track durations, requirements, and outcomes. Looking for fees? See Lab Access pricing.

Track durations vary by discipline: Embedded Systems & Automation (12 weeks), Software Development (10 weeks), AgriTech Prototyping (10 weeks), and Electrical & Electronic Systems (14 weeks). All tracks run on milestone-based progression — you advance when you deliver, not when a calendar says so.

No. SkillForge exists precisely because most Cameroonian engineers cannot get that first industrial experience. You need a relevant technical background — university study or equivalent self-study — but the lab provides the industrial environment, hardware, mentorship, and milestones. We build your experience with you.

You receive a mentor-signed SkillForge Index entry — a verified digital portfolio record documenting your project milestones, hardware used, and outcomes achieved, endorsed by OctalBrain Technology. This generates a unique verification link you share with employers instead of a résumé. You also become eligible for The Arena deployment challenges.

Tracks are primarily on-site at the Yaoundé Hub because they require physical access to the Hardware Vault and in-person mentor supervision. If you are outside Yaoundé, select "Remote Mission Support" on your application — the majority of milestones can be completed remotely, with periodic visits to Yaoundé for hardware checkout and key sessions.
